130-game Man United ace could be lured to Turkish giants with big money offer on 50-year anniversary

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has been linked with a surprise move to Trabzonspor.

The Belgium international remains a controversial figure among Man United fans despite an extended run in the first team.

According to the Turkish outlet Milliyet, the Turkish giants are preparing a lucrative offer for the combative midfielder.

The report goes onto state that Trabzonspor are confident of luring Fellaini to the Turkish league.

Trabzonspor were founded on 2 August 1967 and are expected to invest heavily in building a title winning squad for their 50th anniversary.

Fellaini has made a total of 130 appearances for Manchester United since joining from Everton.

The 29-year-old made the move to Man United for €32 million from back in Everton in 2014. Fellaini’s future remains in doubt as he will have just 12 months left on his contract this summer.

However, ESPN state that Jose Mourinho is keen to extend Fellaini’s contract by an additional season.

Trabzonspor are currently 5th in the Turkish league with 48 points, just two points behind 4th placed Galatasaray.

The Black Sea Storm take on Adanaspor in the Turkish League this weekend
