Tottenham offer out £17m striker who was stripped of No.9 jersey to Turkish Giants

Galatasaray have been linked with a move for the out-of-favour Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.

Janssen spent last season out on loan with Galatasaray’s bitter rivals Fenerbahce. The Yellow Canaries were also linked with a move for Janssen this summer but opted to sign Islam Slimani from Leicester City.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Tottenham has offered Janssen out to Galatasaray.

Per the source, Tottenham are keen to offload the Netherlands international this summer.

We recently reported that the north London based club stripped Janssen of his No.9 shirt.

The 24-year-old made the move to Tottenham from the Eredivisie side Az Alkmaar in a deal worth £17 million back in 2016.

Janssen only managed to score one Premier League goal in his opening season and was subsequently loaned out to Fenerbahce last year.

The Netherlands international scored four Turkish Super Lig goals in 16 appearances during his spell with the Istanbul giants.

Tottenham are back in action this weekend when they take on Fulham in the Premier League.
