£20m Chelsea target wants to prove himself at Barcelona

Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan wants to prove himself at the club next season and remain at the La Liga champions over the summer according to Sport.

Turan was recalled from his holiday a week earlier than his team-mates who were also on international duty at Euro 2016.

The 29-year-old will be monitored by the technical committee and manager Luis Enrique who are set to make a decision on his future.

Turan has returned to training in a bid to get the Turkish international midfielder match fit in time for the new season

There are however, conflicting rumours regarding his future at the club.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to bring in Turan to build an attacking midfield trio alongside Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanches according to the Sun.

Per the source, Barcelona would consider offers of £20 million for the bearded midfielder.

Fellow Premier League outfit Chelsea have also been closely linked with the bearded midfielder.
