£20m Everton & Newcastle target will break Champions League record if he scores against French giants

Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun will break his sides Champions League record as the highest scoring player in the competition if he finds the back of the net against Monaco tonight.

Tosun has a total of four goals for the Black Eagles in the the competition – three this season, one last campaign.

The 26-year-old has already netted three times in Group G including a goal of the week effort in the 3-1 away win over Porto.

The Turkish international is just one goal away from being the top scorer for his side in Champions League history.

Tottenham and Everton are among several sides that have been scouting the striker valued as being worth £20 million by Besiktas.

A source close to Besiktas told Turkish-Football revealed that, Spurs, Everton, Crystal Palace are among several sides that have been keeping close tabs on the forward.

Tosun is just two goals behind the current leading scorers in the tournament, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane who have five each.

Ronaldo and Kane are expected to go head to head when Tottenham take on Real Madrid tonight.

Besiktas meanwhile will join Manchester United and PSG among the only sides left in the competition that have a 100 percent win record after four games.

Tosun is almost certain to start upfront against Monaco in Group G at the Vodafone Arena.
