£20m Newcastle & Tottenham striker scouting target starts in Champions League clash for Turkish champions

Besiktas take on Monaco in the Champions League for their Match Day 4 clash at the Vodafone Arena needing just a point to progress to the next round.

The Black Eagles are currently first in Group G having won their last three games in the competition.

Turkish international striker Cenk Tosun will start upfront for the reigning Super Lig champions.

Tosun has three goals in the tournament and will become Besiktas’ leading scorer of all time in the Champions League if he nets tonight against Monaco.

A source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish Football that Tosun will be scouted by Tottenham, Newcastle and Crystal Palace tonight.

The Fanatik newspaper meanwhile report that Everton have joined Newcastle United, Tottenham and Crystal Palace as one of seven sides in the race for Besiktas star Cenk Tosun.

AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg are preparing offers for the Turkish international.

Per the source, Tottenham and Everton have entered talks with Tosun’s representatives.
