Revealed: £25m Arsenal target Arda Turan prepared to jump ship from Barcelona and move to London
Barcelona star Arda Turan is prepared to switch Barcelona for a move to London this summer.
A source close to the Turkey international has revealed to Turkish-Football that Turan is keen on a move to London.
Furthermore, the 30-year-old is willing to turn down a mega money offer from China to play for a London based club in the Premier league.
Turkish-Football recently broke the news regarding Turan buying a house in London.
Meanwhile, the Turkish outlet CNN Turk claimed that Barcelona will accept a £25 million bid from Arsenal. Per the source the La Liga giant’s are planning to overhaul their squad this summer.
CNN Turk go onto state that Barcelona are keen on offloading Turan this summer. The Catalan giants will need to raise funds to make additional transfers this summer due to UEFA Financial Fair Play constraints.
The ball is however, in Turan’s court, he has a lucrative contract deal with three-years remaining with Barcelona.
Barcelona were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League by Juventus on Tuesday.
Luis Enrique’s side are three points behind their rivals Real Madrid in the league. However, Madrid also have one game in hand.
Turan is currently sidelined with an abductor muscle injury.
The former Galatasaray man suffered the injury while on international duty with Turkey. A return date for Arda Turan has not yet been set.
Turan has played a bit-part role since making the move to Barcelona from Atletico Madrid in July 2015.
The Turkey international has seven assists and 13 goals to his name after 29 apperances for Barcelona so far this season.
