£27m Manchester United ace with linked with move to Turkish giants this summer

Turkish Super League giants Galatasaray have been linked with a move for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

The Lions are looking to bolster their midfield options following the departure of Wesley Sneijder earlier this month.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Galatasaray have set their sights on Man United star Fellaini.

Per the source, the Lions are preparing an offer for the 29-year-old Belgium international.

It is unclear whether Galatasaray plan to use Fellaini as a holding midfielder or as an attacking midfielder.

The Lions board and manager Igor Tudor are under intense pressure after being eliminated from the Europa League.

The Belgium international made 45 appearances across all competitions for United last season, scoring four goals.

Fellaini has just under 12 months remaining on his current contract and is yet to be offered an extension.

United take on UEFA Champions League winner Real Madrid in the Super Cup on August 8.

Fellaini made the move to United from Everton for £27.5 million back in September 2013 (BBC).
