Tufan started his footballing life as a right-back, he now shuttles between attacking and defensive midfield roles for Bursaspor. Green Crocodiles boss Güneş has a reputation for finding players strongest positions and getting the best out of them. Galatasaray trio Burak Yılmaz, Selçuk İnan and Umut Bulut all made a name for themselves under the former high school teacher. Tufan is comfortable playing in just about any midfield position and has even enjoyed success playing on the right wing this season. Arveladze likened him to former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba: “Ozan Tufan is a huge talent, he is like Paul Pogba, they are a similar players and it is not surprising at all that some of the biggest clubs in Europe are chasing him.”
