Suited for the Premier League
Emenike has the physical attributes necessary to play in the Premier League. The Nigerian international is powerful, fast and agile. The 28-year-old has the strength to bully the most burly of defenders but despite being physically tough mentally he can be quite frail. Emenike’s confidence was shattered last season and he was a shadow of his former self scoring just five league goals.
Attacking Options
Bilic has made no secret of the Hammers problems upfront or that he is keen on Emenike: “There is a striker problem right now at West Ham and if the board agree to sign a forward Burak Yilmaz is on my transfer list.” It is also worth noting that West Ham owner David Sullivan was probably speaking about the Nigerian international when he said the club is looking to sign a ’20-goals-a-season striker’.
