£5m Newcastle United star set for move abroad after ‘happy ending’ to negotiations

Newcastle United forward Emmanuel Riviere could be on his way out of the club this summer.

The Turkish outlet FutbolArena claim that Turkish minnows Osmanlispor are in advanced talks with the French forward.

Furthermore, the report states that talks have been positive and a ‘happy ending’ has been reached. However, Futbol Arena go onto state that the financial details of the deal are unknown.

Osmanlispor are on the lookout for a new striker following the departure of Pierre Webo earlier this summer. The Ankara based side have shortlisted Riviere as a potential replacement.

Riviere has fallen out of favour at Newcastle and spent last season on loan at the Spanish side Osasuna. The 27-year-old failed to score a single goal during his spell in La Liga.

Osmanlıspor boss Bulent Uygun is understood to be keen on the player and the Turkish outlet states that the transfer could be concluded within a week.

Riviere made the move to Newcastle £5 million from Monaco back in 2014 (BBC).
