Adidas who have been promoting the have been promoting the #therewillbehaters campaign have defended Mesut Özil from trolls on social media websites.
Özil signed a contract with Adidas in 2013 believes to be worth in the region of €25 million to promote and wear their products. The deal will run until 2020.

The World Cup winner has scored four times and has provided seven assists this term. Özil has made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners this season.
