Agent confirms interest for 20-year-old Man United target who has transformed Turkish giants season
Trabzonspor rising star Yusuf Yazici has attracted interest from across Europe according to his agent Adem Cebeci.
The agent revealed that while there has been interest it could be early for a move abroad.
“There is a lot of interest but it may be a little early for Europe just yet,” Cebeci told Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik.
Yazici has started to attract widespread interest after a brilliant breakthrough in 2017.
The 20-year-old has helped transform Trabzonspor’s season directly being involved in 12 goals in 13 starts – seven goals, give assists.
The youngster setup two goals in his sides 4-3 defeat against Besiktas over the weekend in what was Trabzonspor’s first loss with him starting.
A source close to Trabzonspor revealed to Turkish-Football that several clubs including Manchester United and PSV have been scouting Yazici.
Lyon meanwhile sent coach Claudio Caçapa to the game to report on Besiktas but was left impressed with Yazici according to the Star newspaper.
Cebeci also revealed that he will work under the management of Dr Erkut Sogut moving forwards.
Dr Sogut also represents Mesut Ozil and Ilkay Gundogan.
Cebeci plans for Yazici to move to one of the major European leagues in the future.
“We do not want to leave things to chance, we want to plan his career to get him the best possibly future and as a result we will work under the management of Dr Erkut Sogut who knows the European leagues inside out,” Cebeci was quoted as saying by Fanatik.
