Fernando Muslera’s agent Daniel Fonseca has confirmed that River Plate made an offer for the star goalkeeper.
According to RadyoSpor, Fonseca stated that he met with the Argentinian giants and forwarded their offer to Galatasaray.
The Turkish sports paper AMK report that Galatasaray are now prepared to cash in on the Uruguay international goalkeeper and have told Manchester United that he is available for £10.5million.
Galatasaray have been banned from European competition next season due to failing to meet Financial Fair Play regulations.
Muslera played a key role in Galatasaray winning the league for a record 20th time last season and earning the right to wear a fourth star – the Lions also won the double for a record sixth time.
The 29-year-old has a wealth of European and international experience with 77 caps for Uruguay and also won the Copa America with the South American giants.
