The Serbian international spent a year on loan at Fenerbahce during the 2015-16 season.

Trabzonspor could however, face competition from Premier League outfit Watford according to Football Whispers.

The report claims that Watford have had a £10 million bid for Markovic rejected.

The Reds are keen on getting the winger off their books after being transfer listed by Jurgen Klopp but are demanding a figure around £20 million.

Liverpool paid Benfica £20 million for Markovic in 2014 but he never managed to establish himself at the club.

The 23-year-old was loaned out to Fenerbahce the following season and spent the last league campaign on another loan, this time at Watford.

Markovic scored twice and provided three assists in a season riddled by injuries on his last stint in Turkey.
