Fenerbahce full-back Caner Erkin has been closely linked with a move abroad over the last few months but his agent Batur Altiparmak had previously denied every transfer rumour.

Altiparmak has however, revealed that he may have held talks with a non-Turkish side: “I have not held talks with a Turkish club but I can hold talks with non-Turkish clubs as Caner has under six months remanning on his contract.”

Inter are reported to be closing in on a €2.2 million deal for Fenerbahce star Caner Erkin according to NTV Spor pundit Ridvan Dilmen.

The Italian giants could however, face competition from the Premier League according to the Express who claim that Liverpool and Everton are also in the race

The Turkish international star has attracted interest from across Europe and could be available on a free-transfer in the summer if the Istanbul giants fail to sign a contract extension deal.

Erkin fell out with Fenerbahce head coach going into the Intercontinental derby against rivals Galatasaray and was subsequently dropped. The fiery left-back is expected to leave the club at the end of the season following the latest rift with the manager.
