Romanian referee Alexandru Dan Tudor will officiate Besiktas – Partizan Europa League Group C game.

Tudor will be joined by assistant referees Aurel Onita and Octavian Sovre. The fourth linesman will be Radu Adrian Ştefan Ghinguleac.

The Romanian referee averages 4.06 yellow cards, 0.20 red cards and 0.15 penalties per-game.

Tudor was criticised by both Cypriot and Russian sports press following a Europa League 2014 qualifying game between Omonoia AC and Dinamo Moscow at GSP Stadium, Cyprus.

The 43-year-old referee disallowed two goals for the home side and allowed a late goal for Dinamo during injury time which almost resulted in a riot.

Tudor had to be accompanied by police at the end of the game.

Beşiktaş won the last meeting against Partizan in Serbia 4-0.

The Black Eagles will be hoping for a similar result in Istanbul to keep their place at the top of the table.
