Ali Dürüst unsure about Sneijder contract extention

Galatasaray sporting director Ali Dürüst has said that he is unsure whether Wesley Sneijder wants to extend his contract with Galatasaray.

Dürüst spoke to NTVspor ahead of Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League Clash with Anderlecht.

When asked about Sneijder’s contract situation, Dürüst said, “The players decision is what is important”

The 31-year-old playmaker earns €5 million per-season and still has two-years left on his contract.

Sneijder has been closely linked with moves to Manchester United, Juventus and AC Milan over the past few months.

However, the former Champions League winner has insisted that he wants to stay at Galatasaray.

The Netherlands international joined Galatasaray from Inter in 2013 for €8 million.

The 31-year-old lead Galatasaray to Turkish Cup glory last season and played an important role in Galatasaray reaching the Champions League quarter-finals.
