Valencia has missed the last two games due to injury and with Young also out Mourinho has been forced to field Luke Shaw as left-back.

Rooney has been out since the start of the month with a foot injury and David de Gea also returned to training after recovering from a slight hip injury.

Despite the three players returning to training Rooney and Young have not travelled with the rest of the squad.

Star man Valencia has however, been included in the travelling party.

Mourinho is expected to stick with a 4-2-3-1 setup with Romero keeping his place in goal as first-choice keeper in the Europa League.

The Portuguese boss is expected to draft in Valencia as full-back.

Herrera and Carrick are likely to start in central midfield while Paul Pogba could start in a more advanced midfield position.

Mkhitaryan and Martial are likely to start out wide in attack with Zlatan Ibrahimovic upfront.

United inflicted Anderlecht’s biggest ever loss in European competition when they trashed them 10-0 back in 1956.

The Red Devils have kept more clean sheets than any other side in the Europa League this season.

Anderlecht have however, scored in all 10 of their Europa League matches this season, netting 21 times.
