Arda Turan could be set to lose Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi to Chelsea according to the Sun.
The report claims that Chelsea are plotting a £100 million transfer bid which would shatter all previous transfer records.
Messi’s father, who is also his sons agent is reported to have met with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich some time over the last 10 days on the Blues’ owners personal yacht, the Eclipse.
The Argentinian international was recently sentenced to 21 months in jail for tax fraud but is unlikely to spend time behind bars as sentences less than two years in Spain can be served under probation.
Messi would play in the Premier League for the first time in his career if he were to join the Blues over the summer
The report claims that Messi’s family feel victimised by the fines and prison sentence and that Chelsea made an enquiry regarding the possibility of the Argentinian star wanting to leave Barcelona as a result of recent developments.
Turan meanwhile is also being linked with a move away from Barca. German giants Borussia Dortmund are now reported to be interested in the Turkish international according to Sport.
