Turkish international star Arda Turan called Lionel Messi a living legend following his fifth Ballon D’or award yesterday in Switzerland.
Turan also called the Argentinian a genius and that he is honoured to be part of the same team as such an iconic player in world football.

The bearded winger did not win any prizes himself but he did contribute to Messi winning the award giving maximum points to his teammate in the voting process as his number one choice for player of the year.
Turan made his debut against Espanyol last week despite joining Barcelona six-months ago due to the FIFA transfer ban imposed on the club preventing him from playing until January.
The debut of Turan came as a blessing for Messi who has scored five goals in the two games the Turkish international has started in.
Turan has also provided his first assist in a Barcelona shirt for none other than Messi in the 4-0 La Liga victory over Granada.
