Arda Turan has taken to social media to congratulate Barcelona on the World Club Cup win. The Catalan giants defeated the Argentinian side River Plate by a 3-0 scoreline.
Barcelona won their fifth trophy of 2015 after lifting the Fifa Club World Cupin Japan. The Argentinian side were unable to cope with threat of Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Messi scored his sides opener while a brace from Luis Suarez secured the cup for the La Liga champions.
Turan posted a picture of his side celebration along with the caption, “Champions of the World.”
Turan was taken to Japan with the team by head coach Luis Enrique to train with the team.
The Turkish international is set to make his long awaited debut for Barcelona at the Camp Nou against city rivals Espanyol. Barcelona will take on Espanyol in the Copa del Rey on January 5 or 6.
