The Turkish national team manager Fatih Terim has made sweeping changes to the squad for the first friendly encounter since Turkey’s disappointing Euro 2016 campaign.

Arda Turan has been omitted from the squad in favour of fresher faces such as Basaksehir’s Cengiz Under and Fenerbahce’s Salih Ucan.

However, Terim has named what looks to be an experimental squad and will recall the likes of Turan when the World Cup qualifiers come around.

Galatasaray’s Selcuk Inan is another notable omission from the national team squad.

National team squad:

Goalkeeper: Harun Tekin (Bursaspor), Onur Kıvrak (Trabzonspor), Volkan Babacan (Başakşehir)
