Turkish international Arda Turan has revealed that he already feels a bond towards Barcelona. The bearded winger revealed that he has already settled into his new club in an interview with NTV Spor.
“I am preparing already and I have to say everybody has been so welcoming, we are always hanging out together and I already feel a part of this great club,” Turan said.
Turan joined the La Liga champions on a £24 million transfer from Atletico Madrid last month but will be unable to play until January due to the FIFA transfer ban.
Barcelona are able to sign players but are unable to register new signings until the turn of the year.
The 28-year-old winger will have to wait or join another club on loan until Barcelona are able to officially include him in the squad. Turan has been linked with a number of clubs for a short-term loan move but has yet to receive any official bids.
Turan recently shared a few selfies with his new teammate Neymar calling the Brazilian international his brother. The feelings seem to be mutual as Neymar also posted a picture posing with the Turkish international alongside the caption, “With my bro Arda Turan.”
