Turkish international Arda Turan has underlined that he must adapt to the Barcelona philosophy.

Turan revealed that Barcelona have a distinct way of doing things and that he must settle into the clubs playing style over the next six months.

“The next six months are going to have to be very important, Barcelona have their own philosophy and I will have to learn that,” Turan told NTV Spor.

The 28-year-old joined Barcelona on a £24 million transfer from Atletico Madrid but the La Liga champions are currently unable to register the bearded winger due to the FIFA transfer ban.

Despite having a transfer ban the Champions League title holders can still sign players however, are unable to register new players until January.

Turan stated that not being able to play for the next six months is frustrating but that he will use his time on the sidelines to develop his game and prepare for January.

“Of course it is frustrating, I want to play right now but all I can do now is prepare,” he added.

The 28-year-old also revealed that playing for Barcelona was his childhood dream and that now he has achieved his goal his next aim is to become a success at the club.

“I dreams of playing here as a kid but now that I am here I want to be a success,” Turan said.

Turan became the most expensive Turkish international after joining Barcelona, he also happens to be the best paid.
