Turan actually returned to the starting lineup against Almeria after missing last weeks 2-0 loss against Celta Vigo due to injury.
The La Liga champions beat Almeria 3-0 to remain in 3rd place in the league.
Turan has three goals and six assists for Atleti in 30 appearances for Atleti this season.
Atleti travel to Germany next to take on Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League quarter-finals.
