Reigning La liga champions Barcelona extended their unbeaten run to a club record 31 games following the 3-1 win over Sporting Gijon at the Molinon stadium yesterday.
Lionel Messi hit the headlines after scoring his 300th and 301st goal while Luis Suarez scored the other goal.
Arda Turan did not score or add to his three assists but Barcelona have now won all 10 games in which he has featured since making his debut for the club last month after a six-month wait due to the FIFA transfer ban.
Turan did however, work hard in midfield and actually made the highest number of tackles for his side (5).

Arda Turan started for Barcelona and put on an impressive performance on the left side of midfield helping his side maintain possession with a 90 percent pass accuracy.
Turan also worked hard and actually made the highest number of tackles for his side (5).
