Arda Turan Chelsea transfer news

Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal have been named in the Barcelona squad for the first time since joining over the summer transfer window from Atletico Madrid and Sevilla respectively.

The Turkish international star and Vidal were both registered yesterday and awarded the 7 and 22 shirt numbers, respectively.

Turan and Vidal were both kept at Barcelona despite being banned from playing due to the FIFA transfer restrictions imposed on the club.

The bearded winger is expected to make his official debut for the club in the Spanish Cup clash against Espanyol in the Last 16 first-leg tie at the Camp Nou.

The 28-year-old has been able to maintain a high level of match fitness due to playing regularly for the Turkish national team playing a key role in the Crescent-Stars reaching the European Championships.
