Arda Turan shows off his singing skills on the Turkish Voice [divider]
Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan showed off his singing skills on the Turkish version of the popular music show, The Voice.
Turan appeared in the New Years Eve special and sung a traditional Turkish Cypriot song called Sarı Çizmeli Mehmet Ağa which was popularised in the 1980’s by the singer Barış Manço.
The singer managed to get all the judges to turn around but his voice was not nearly as smooth as his silky skills.
Turan’s rendition of the song may have sounded more like something you would hear from someone on night out at a karaoke bar after a few drinks but full marks for effort.

Turan became the first Turkish player to win a La Liga title when Atletico Madrid lifted the title last season.
The Turkish international has won the Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, Copa Del Rey and La Liga title since joining Atleti in 2011.
