Arda Turan slams ‘bloodsucking’ reporters [divider]
Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan has slammed reporters who spread a rumour claiming he was at a party dancing into the early morning following Turkey’s 4-0 loss against Brazil.
Turan shared an image on his Instagram account from the award ceremony he attended after the game.
“Apparently I was dancing with girls all night, these bloodsucking reporters have no shame to fabricate lies and accuse people with ridiculous stories, I was at an award ceremony and went home after,” Turan said.
Turan started against Brazil in Turkey’s humiliating 4-0 loss at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium.
The 27-year-old winger is expected to start for Turkey in the Euro 2016 Group A qualification game against Kazakhstan on Sunday November 16 2014.
Turkey are currently last in Group A after picking up just one point from three games. The Crescent-Stars lost against Iceland and Czech Republic while only managing a draw against Latvia.
