Arda Turan suspended for Celta Vigo game [divider]
Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan picked up a suspension following the 4-0 win over rivals Real Madrid in the Madrid derby.
Turan was shown a yellow card for protesting a decision made by referee Fernández Borbalán.

Fellow Atleti teammate Raul Garcia also picked up a suspension after receiving a yellow card for protesting another refereeing decision just minutes later.
Turan has been involved in a number of controversial incidents recently most notably his shoe throwing incident in the 3-2 loss against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey.
Turan responded to his boot coming off in a challenge by throwing it at the assistant referee. The boot narrowly missed the official’s head and resulted in the Turkish international being shown a yellow card.
Atleti are currently in third place on 50 points just four points behind league leaders Real Madrid.
Turan has a total of three goals and six assists in all competitions for the La Liga champions this season.
