Lionel Messi won the 2015 Ballon D’or award for a record fifth time today and Barcelona teammate Arda Turan made sure he contributed towards the Argentinian taking home the trophy.

In fact Turan voted for all three Barcelona teammates nominated including Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.

The Turkish international star chose Messi as his first choice, Neymar as his second choice and Suarez as his third choice for his votes.

It was perhaps little surprise that Turan gave Messi maximum points after all he did recently describe him as being a gift from god.

Neymar ended up winning 7% of the total vote, Ronaldo had 27% and Messi was the clear winner with 41.33%.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique picked up the coach of the year award and four players from his team found their way into the team of the year.

The full 2015 Fifpro World XI team is as follows:

Neuer; Thiago Silva, Marcelo, Ramos, Alves; Iniesta, Modric, Pogba; Neymar, Messi, Ronaldo
