Arda Turan wants to stay at Atletico Madrid until the end of his career [divider]
Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan revealed that he would like to remain in Spain until the end of his career.
“I have a contract with Atletico Madrid until 2017,” Turan said.
“Everything is going to plan, you never know in football but I am very happy at Atletico Madrid.
“I want to see my contract out here, in fact I want to stay here for the rest of my career.
“We had a great year together.
“Every moment was fantastic, it was a really important year for me and hopefully I made Turkey and the people back home proud.
“Also from a personal perspective it was a very successful season.
“We all worked hard as a team and worked day and night to win the league.
“Hopefully 2015 will continue in the same way.”
Turan became the first Turkish player to win a La Liga title when Atletico Madrid lifted the title last season.
