Mesut Ozil should be judged on chances created
Ozil was criticised after the game for having not provided an assist in his last nine Champions League games but he did create two goal scoring opportunities. The World Cup winner should not be blamed for his teammates missing chances. Ozil has created 105 chances this season – one of the highest in Europe’s top five leagues including England, France, Germany, Spain and Italy.
