Arsenal boss impressed by Turkish wonder-kid

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger revealed that he has been impressed by Turkish international wonder-kid Emre Mor.

Wenger was quoted by the Milliyet as saying: “He came on against Croatia and I must say I was impressed by his talented he was.”

Arsenal were among several Premier League sides linked with Mor prior to his big money move to Borussia  Dortmund last month.

The Daily Star reported that the Liverpool were the favourites the sign the Turkish international and several other clubs were closely linked with the youngster.

Mor joined the German giants on a five-year deal just days after being called up to the Turkey national team Euro 2016 squad.

The 18-year-old was a surprise addition to the squad having made just two appearances for the senior national team prior to his call up.

Mor became the youngest player to have ever played for Turkey in an international tournament when he was brought on in the second half during the 1-0 defeat against Croatia.

The Turkish wondered is expected to feature for Turkey in their final Group D game against the Czech Republic.
