Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reveals whether he will risk Mesut Ozil against Leicester City

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed whether he will risk fielding Mesut Ozil this weekend clash agaisnt last season’s Premier League champions Leicester City.

The 27-year-old was left out of the squad for Arsenal’s opening game of the season with Liverpool where they were defeated by a 4-3 scoreline.

Ozil has been given an extended rest after participating in Euro 2016 earlier this summer. Aaron Ramsey who also played in the semi-finals was fielded against Liverpool but was forced off after 60 minutes due to an injury.

Wenger has stated that is considering rushing the Germany international back this weekend. “Maybe I will take a gamble on bringing them back early but I have 48 hours to decide,” The French tactician was quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.

Ozil was included in the provisional squad going into the game against Liverpool last week but was left out of the match day squad The Germany international is not injured but Wenger fears that his star man may end up on the sidelines if he is rushed back before he is 100 percent fit.
