Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is monitoring Arda Turan’s transfer situation according to TalkSport.
Doubts have been cast over Turan’s future at Barcelona with reports in Spain suggesting he could be sold this summer.
TalkSport state Arsenal have been placed on alert and are interested in signing the Turkish international if he is up for sale.
The Gunners are looking to improve their midfield over the summer with the likes of Tomas Rosicky, Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta all expected to leave at the end of the season.
Turan was recently linked with a mega money move to the Chinese Super Lig. Mundo Deportivo (via Turkish newspaper HaberTurk) have stated that the Chinese club Bejing Guoan are preparing an incredible €100 million offer for the Turkish international.
Turan joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid at the start of the season €37 million plus a potential €7 in bonuses. The Turkish international has made just nine starts for the Catalan giants since joining.
