Mesut Ozil was ‘thrilled to bits’ with his Arsenal return
“We have a really strong team. People could see that once again against Stoke (City),” Özil told Sport 1.
“So I don’t see why we shouldn’t finish right at the very top of the table.
“When you play football you should always have belief in yourself.”
The Gunners are currently in fifth place on 36 points, 13 points behind league leaders Chelsea.
Arsenal last won the league in the 2003-04 season.
Özil was part of the Gunners team that won the FA Cup last season – the clubs first piece of silverware since the 2004-5 FA Cup win.
The 26-year-old joined Arsenal on a record £42.5 million move last season.
