Arsenal Emirates Cup squad does not feature contract rebel, Fenerbahce target dropped

Arsenal Emirates Cup squad does not feature contract rebel, Lacazette & Kolasinac make team

Arsenal kick start their annual pre-season tournament the Emirates Cup today on home turf.

Arsene Wenger has picked a largely unchanged squad to that which toured China and Australia earlier this month.

Hector Bellerin, Calum Chambers and Rob Holding have returned to the setup.

Record summer signing Alexandre Lacazette and fellow arrival Saed Kolasinac will be available.

Wenger is however, still without contract rebel Alexis Sanchez.

Shkodran Mustafi meanwhile is not available either. Both players are expected to return to London Colney on Sunday.

Wenger has fellow contract rebel Mesut Ozil available but has dropped Lucas Perez.

The Spanish striker has been closely linked with a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce and he has not been selected for the travelling squad either.

It looks like Wenger has no plans for him for the striker next season which will serve as a transfer boost for the Yellow Canaries.

The Gunners will take on Portuguese league champions Benfica in their opening game tonight.
