The attacking midfielder was born in Germany but is of Turkish origin like Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil.

Ozil represents Germany at international level while Ozcan plays for Turkey.

The Gunners face competition from Besiktas for the rising star.

The Black Eagles have been keeping tabs on the young forward and have made an enquiry.

Besiktas have prioritised adding youth to the squad as there are several ageing players in the current side.

The Istanbul giants have won the league title for the past two seasons and became the first Turkish side to book a place in the Champions League Last 16 as group leaders.

Ozcan has four assists in 13 appearances for Stuttgart in all competitions this season.

The youngster did recently extend his contract deal and has another four-years remaining on his contract.
