Arsenal supporters have been tricked by an elaborate hoax played on them which shows Arda Turan posing in a team training top.
The picture sparked a social media storm with Arsenal fans wondering if the Turkish international midfielder would actually be joining from Barcelona.
However, it was the work of an unknown photoshop expert who took Turan’s head from an Atletico Madrid interview and caused a frenzy among Arsenal fans.

However, one sharp supporter pointed out that the photos show Turan wearing last season’s training gear.

The Sun recently report that Arsenal are among the clubs interested and that Barca would be willing to accept £20 million.
However, Turan has signalled his intent to remain at Barcelona this summer following a strong performance during the La Liga giants 3-1 victory over Celtic last week.
The 29-year-old struggled to break into the staring line-up last season and made just 18 appearances for Barcelona. However, Turan returned to training early this summer in order to gain full match fitness and was one of the stars of the show against the Scottish champions.
