Arsenal play-maker Mesut Özil played a staring role in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League.
However, former Manchester United manager David Moyes sparked controversy ahead of the Arsenal v Aston Villa clash when he revealed that he was still not convinced by Özil.
“I think the jury’s still out on Mesut Ozil,” Moyes stated on Sky Sports before the game.
The Gunners ended up winning the game against Villa 2-0 at Villa Park and Özil provided an assist setting up Aaron Ramsey with the second goal.
The World Cup winner has been one of the most in-form players for his side this season.
Özil has won the Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month award for the past two consecutive months and now has 13 assists in 15 Premier League games this season.
