Arsenal were held to a goalless draw by Premier League champions Leicester City at the King Power stadium on Saturday.
The Gunners are already five points behind league leaders Manchester United two games into the season but it is worth noting they have played the likes of Liverpool and the Foxes.
Mesut Ozil missed the 4-3 defeat against Liverpool but was available against Leicester, making a second half performance.
We took a look at how Arsenal fans reacted to Ozil’s display on social media.
The Gunners first-half performance did not go down particularly well with the fans.
Sometimes I wonder how we have mesut Ozil he's so good were so lucky ffs

The absence of Ozil in the first half and the poor display from Alexis Sanches showed just how important both players are to the club when in form.
Ozil's importance was plain to see today. But without Alexis contributing at a high level we're a very mediocre attacking side

The Gunners started without Euro 2016 finalist Giroud and semi-finalist Ozil. Both had extended breaks after their European Championship campaign but Arsene Wenger is under pressure to rush back his star players.
We need Ozil and Giroud so badly

Not cool!

The big fear among Arsenal fans is if Ozil and Sanchez decide to pack their bags and head for the door.
Sanchez and Ozil might just move on after this season

They (Ozil and Alexis) are going to leave anyway if we don't show some ambition
