Arsenal managed to come away from the Parc des Princes with a point last night despite being outplayed by the Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG were a goal up after just 42 seconds when Edison Cavani’s header found the back of the net. According to Opta sports, the goal was the fastest in Champions League history.

The former Napoli striker went onto miss several chances including an open goal.

Mesut Ozil was included in Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up but failed to dictate the tempo of the game. The Germany international did however play a role in the equalising goal.

Following the game we took to social media to see how Ozil’s performance went down with Arsenal fans. The 27-year-old received a mix reaction on the night.

Arsenal will be pleased to have returned to London with a point and host FC Basel at the Emirates Stadium in their next Champions League encounter.

The Gunners take on the newly promoted Hull City this weekend in the Premier League.
