The tweet was sent out in Turkish and comes amid reports that the World Cup winner is close to putting pen to paper on a deal with Galatasaray.

Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Arsenal over the transfer of Podolski according to LigTV.

Galatasaray have been pursuing Podolski for the past four seasons and made an offer for the 30-year-old striker in January but he opted to join Inter Milan on loan. Podolski had an unsuccessful spell with the Serie A giants scoring just one league goal.

The experienced striker won the World Cup with Germany last season and wants regular first team football to retain his place in the national team side.
