Arsenal & Galatasaray targets future in doubt after missing training for Premier League giants

Jason Denayer’s Manchester City future has been case in doubt after the Belgium International missed training today.

The Turkish newspaper Milliyet state that Denayer missed todays session despite not being injured.

The Sun have reports that Arsenal are interested in signing Denayer this summer. The Gunners are currently facing a defensive crisis following injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray sporting director Levent Nazifoglu has confirmed the the Lions are also his sides interest Denayer.

Nazifoglu told Turkish-Football, “I do not think we have an abundance in defence.

“If we can agree with Manchester City [for Jason Denayer] then we can say that.”

Denayer is no stranger to the Turkish league after establishing himself as a first team favourite at Galatasaray last season. The pacy defender’s future at City has been cast in doubt after being left out of Pep Guardiola’s squad.

Denayer made 28 appearances for the Istanbul giants in all competitions last season. Despite joining Manchester City from JMG Lier back in 2013, Denayer currently has no Premier League appearances for the Citizens.
