Arsenal are keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Hakan Çalhanoğlu according to talkSPORT.
The talkSPORT report also claims that Barcelona are interested in the Turkish international.
Barcelona would not however, be able to sign Çalhanoğlu until January 2016 due to a transfer ban.
Çalhanoğlu has been hitting the headlines recently for his set-piece goals. The 21-year-old has scored the highest number of free-kick goals in the top five leagues in Europe – Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1.
The Turkish international is regarded as being one of the best set-piece specialists in world football and has received rave reviews from Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola who said: “Çalhanoğlu is one of the best free-kick takers in the Bundesliga.”
The 21-year-old now has a total of 13 goals and 11 assists, Çalhanoğlu has setup more goals than any other Turkish player in Europe this season other than Mehmet Ekici (11).
Çalhanoğlu has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer despite joining Bayer for £14.5 million last season – a record fee for a Turkish international.
