Arsenal launch £30m bid for Barcelona star, Italian giants could rival offer

Arsenal have launched a £30 million bid for Barcelona star Arda Turan according to the Sun.

Per the source, the Gunners could however, face competition from Inter Milan for his signature.

Barcelona have given Turan the green light for a summer exit but he will not be allowed to leave on the cheap.

The 30-year-old would be able to focus completely on club football next season after recently retiring from international football.

The Turkish international is however, under contract until 2020 and Marca report that he has been reluctant to leave.

The article does however, claim that Arsenal and Inter could tempt him away from the Camp Nou.

Per the source, Barcelona want to sell Turan this summer and are willing to accept £26 million [€30m] although they do quote Turkish sports newspaper AMK as their source for the figure.

The report claims Turan has three options available. Move to China, Arsenal or Inter.

Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut has already revealed to Turkish-Football that a move to China or back to Turkey is off the cards.

The experienced attacking midfielder does have property in London and regularly visits the city.
