The Turkish international’s agent Ahmet Bulut hinted that an end of season move could be on the cards.

“Arda will be 28 by the end of the season and could be transferred to another club, if this were to happen it would be to one of Europe’s top eight sides, otherwise he wouldn’t consider moving as Atleti are already one of the best teams on the continent,” Bulut told Fanatik.

Turan has a contract with Atleti until 2017 and a €40 million release clause.

The Turkish international became the first Turkish born player to win the La Liga as Atleti won their first league title since 1996 last season.
Simeone sees Turan as one of his key players and the duo have lifted the La Liga, Copa Del Rey, Europa League, European Super Cup and reached the Champions League final together.
Despite being linked to a number of Premier League clubs Turan has always maintained that he is happy in Spain.
