Arsene Wenger

Borussia Dortmund star Emre Mor has caught the attention of most major European clubs after an impressive showing for Turkey at Euro 2016.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger praised Mor for the second time in recent weeks yesterday in an interview with Lig Tv.

Wenger revealed that he believes Dortmund have signed a wonderful talent in Mor and that they will be exciting to watch next season.

“It looks like Dortmund have signed a very exciting young player and this is a huge opportunity for Emre Mor as it is a club that works well with youngsters,” he said.

Just a fortnight ago Wenger said Mor caught his eye when he came on against Croatia and that he was impressed by the youngster.

Wenger said: “He came on against Croatia and I must say I was impressed by his talented he was.”

Mor is already being tipped as one of the hottest prospects in Turkish football and earned himself a five-year deal to Dortmund this summer just days before Euro 2016.
The Denmark born attacking midfielder is currently the youngest player to have set up a goal at Euro 2016. Mor provided Burak Yılmaz with an assist for the opening goal in the 2-0 win over the Czech Republic.

Mor has seen his transfer value increase from under €1 million to €16 million according to Transfermarkt – a 900 percent increase.

The 18-year-old has seen the biggest transfer valuation increase over Euro 2016 going from total obscurity having played just 13 times FC FC Nordsjælland last season and he was not even a senior Turkish international until two games before Euro 2016.
