Arsenal star Mesut Özil has heaped praise on his new football boots supplied to him by Adidas.
The Germany international uploaded a video onto Instagram of himself opening the boot bag and praising the boots.
Özil states that the new footwear is ‘something really special.’ The former Real Madrid man went onto to talk about the laceless design of the boots.
Adidas have been aggressively targeting the football market and recently launched the new ‘Be The Difference’ football boot range, the X and the Ace.
Özil signed a contract with Adidas in 2013 believes to be worth in the region of €25 million to promote and wear their products. The lucrative deal will run until 2020.
The Germany international played a staring role in Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Swansea City in the Premier League last weekend. Özil took one shot on target, made five key passes and provided two assists. The Germany international maintained a passing accuracy of 90%.
Arsenal remain top of the Premier League table following their win over the Swans at the Liberty stadium. Özil now has seven assists in his last five league games – the highest record in the league. The World Cup winner has a total of eight assists and two goals in all competitions this season.
